I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that, included within the Amendments outlawing same-sex marriage and adoption protocols, is this: **the new rules reset Putin’s term limits as president, meaning he can serve an additional two six-year terms in office.**

Not surprised this would happen, you can already go to prison in Russia for showing your child anything related to LGBT+ in general. Plus they were going to give Miitopia for the Nintendo Switch a Mature Rating due to same sex marriage in the game.

The question is, is he to blame or the Russian people? I sometimes feel like a politician can get away with absolutely anything in the eyes of conservatives as long as he’s *against liberals*. So I guess he’s just covering his ass up from all the crime that he’s doing.

Eh we had that banned in Poland for years now, I’m surprised a country such as Russia hasn’t banned it earlier or even legalized it in the first place, that is not to say I am for the ban, I’m just showing my surprise at this

He also wants them and anybody else he hates dead. But he is limited (so far) in what he can do and still stay in power.

Comment section weird af. He just signed parliament law which removes inconsistency on same-sex marriage, which was never directly forbidden, but still denied to citizens(unless they’re converted trans people, since gender change is legal in Russia).
Basically this law doesn’t do anything new.

This kind of bs seriously affects the children who have no family and desperately need one.
Children and babies who for different reasons are born into or have had to grow up in an unstable environment or for some reason cannot be with their bio family really don’t give a flying f*** whether people are hetero, gay or bi.
All they need and want is a home and a family who show them love and respect, they want a roof over their heads where they’re kept warm, safe and fed.
Considering that there is soo many people in this world who are so inept and have children biologically when they should be kept well away from being responsible for anything at all I find it’s completely ludicrous that only because of their sexuality people who want to adopt children are deemed inadequate
It literally boils my blood because laws like this aren’t for the child’s welfare, it’s only down to bigotry and hatred
