That video is haunts me still. Its not the gore, its the terror in Shavers voice and the callousness in which he is targeted and executed by Brelsford.
Clearly confused and pleading for his life, it’s unbelievable to me that Shavers assassin received a temporary new job in law enforcement in order to be eligible for disability, and a pension as his reward.

What I find fucking interesting is my dad was a fire fighter emt. A real civil servant who couldn’t just shoot the fire when in the face of danger and threat of death.
He had to retire because of severe injuries he incurred on the job, not because he was part of a state sanctioned snuff film.
And he had to remain in the city he worked for for 5 years before his pension vested. But this motherfucker gets to just flee the country and get paid. That’s some weird shit.
I’m glad she is still seeking justice, this is one of the most fucked up cases i have ever seen. He murdered an unarmed man in cold blood. I hope she gets justice.

I marched at the BLM March in Phoenix and there were a lot of people with signs and saying his name too.
Police militarization needs to end.
They protect and shuffle those cops around like the church does dirty priests.
Put Philip on the ground with long guns pointed at him. Give him conflicting orders and see what happens.

It’s as if the cops were intentionally giving him confusing instructions so that he would make a mistake. Maybe cops should learn how to communicate. “Put your hands in the air and now crawl”. Like wtf?
Everyone is tired of seeing this. Police officers need to be held accountable. That doesn’t mean let go and collect a pension. Makes me sick.
I was in almost the exact situation as Daniel Shaver.
This was AFTER I watched the video of him being killed.
I was in a hotel and the fire alarm went off. I ignored it because there was no sign of fire and it was the middle of the night, I was sleepy and every alarm on my life has been a false alarm.
About 10 minutes later I hear banging on the room doors getting closer and closer. Hearing the doors open with a card. I stayed in bed.
Suddenly my door opens and there’s a flashlight in my eyes and guys yelling at me hands up get out of bed. I then saw the officers in the doorway with the light from the hallway. It was swat. No less than five guns were cocked and pointed at me.
I knew the next seconds were life or death.
All I could think about was Daniel Shaver. I knew the excuse that psycho cop used to wrongly shoot him. In his panic, Daniel had just reached down and pulled up his pants so he could crawl better. I’m sure it was very subconscious on his part.
So I kept my hands on full view palms open facing forward and balanced my way to a standing position out of bed from laying to standing, without using my hands or arms at all. Very awkward and unnatural thing to do. Always facing the officers and no extra moves. All I think I said was ok or yes sir.
Once I was out of bed in my underwear standing with nothing between me and them they took it down a tenth of a notch and had me get dressed and led me to evacuate the building. They were pissed that I ignored the alarm.
There had been a bomb threat and they were assuming all innocent people left when they did the fire alarm, so they were assuming I was the bomber until proven otherwise.
The Daniel Shaver video saved my life.
Please like this video. Mr. Shaver’s widow needs and deserves our help.
Nothing will happen to these cops till common Americans take justice in their own hands.
Unfortunately I’ve had numerous experiences with Mesa PD, most of them not good. Many of the officers I met were so cruel and just straight up cunts (looking at you, Detective M.).
I hope she finally gets justice for Daniel.

I never really wish bad things upon people. However, if a mob of people got ahold of Phillip Brailsford and dragged him through the streets and gave him the justice he deserves, I wouldn’t lose an ounce of sleep. That man is a sorry excuse of a human being. They video of him murdering Daniel Shaver is still vivid in my mind. I hope one day he “gets his.” Sad it’s to the point cops are fleeing to other countries. Who know else did that? The Nazi’s; to avoid prosecution because they knew what they did was a crime. 21st century and this is where we’re at.
My soul hurts for her.
There are rare cases in which I would endorse the death penalty…
