People back then were so salty about WW. Today it’s a classic. In the Zelda music meta it’s on of the strongest and the characters were pretty strong this time. Link just wanted to save his sister. The freedom on the sea is amazing and the fact that there is no loading time when you enter one just makes it feel so much more free. The only bad thing are the dungeons and the the bosses. It’s the definition of style over substance. The dungeon have gool ideas and great atmosphere but are pretty basic and easy if you break them down. Bosses look cool but fall way to heavy into the Zelda boss patteen of hit the weakpoint with the new item
Maybe not a Top 5 Zelda but Top 10 for sure

Technically Windwaker came out at the end of 2002 and early 2003. So it’s not 20 years old quite yet. Zelda 20 years ago was actually Oracle of Ages/Seasons. That came out in 2001, and was my graduation present to myself.

For the record, WW came out 18 years ago. So if y’all pictured Majora’s Mask like I did, I feel like that’s technically more correct here (came out 21 years ago. I’m being pedantic, but this post is needlessly trying to make people feel old, so 🤷♂️

In a D&D sub the other day someone was talking about setting up a game a decade ago and it took me a solid 10 minutes of confusion before I remembered 1990 is in fact 30 years ago……..man I feel f$&king old.

So, I’ll be the nerd who points out why this is wrong.
True A Link to the Past isn’t 20, it’s 30 years old, but Wind Waker is 18 years old. So for this to be correct, it would need to be a picture of Majora’s Mask on the right.
