*Someone’s* raccoon? That’s the raccoon of Jefferson Airplane drummer Spencer Dryden, which famously disappeared during their 1968 show in Sacramento and led to the epic fight that broke up the first incarnation of the band and was never solved and you know it. Your mom is in deep trouble.

my apologies if this is too personal but where did you find this photo? I often find my grandparents photos when i look through their photo album or jewelry box.

showed this to my dad and he thinks this raccoon might have belonged to someone in my uncle Mike’s crowd at the time. my dad was still in LA (too young for the scene in the 60s) but his older brother ran off to laguna. Wonder if your mom and my uncle crossed paths. crazy how similar laguna looks then and now, thanks for sharing this
