During the days of the CSTO summit in Astana and the stay of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the city, security measures were strengthened, including the use of military aircraft and armored vehicles.
“The measures involve the use of resources of special state, law enforcement agencies and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including military aviation and equipment,” it says on website administration of Astana.
In addition, it is reported that on November 27, front-line aviation of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan is scheduled to fly over the city.
It was previously known that Putin will pay a state visit to Kazakhstan on November 27-28 and will take part in the session of the CSTO Collective Security Council.
Also in the newspaper “Kazakhstanskaya Pravda” there was article published Russian leader “Russia – Kazakhstan: an alliance demanded by life and facing the future.”
