How explained RTVI Zavarzin, from March 2025, the reservation of employees of organizations will be the responsibility of only federal departments. “The following is changing: if previously enterprises and regional authorities could handle the reservation of employees, then from March 2025 these powers will be transferred to the federal authorities, the Ministry of Defense and so on. It’s not the regional bodies that will be able to deal with it, but the federal ones – that’s the difference,” he emphasized.

The Ministry of Digital Development, in turn, reportedthat the rules for booking employees of companies from all areas of the economy have been adjusted. “We are talking about a list of conditions under which an organization is recognized as ensuring the sustainable operation of the economy and, by a separate decision, receives the right to reserve its employees,” the department said.

Russia reported recruitment of contract soldiers exceeding expectations

Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Defense Andrey Kartapolov in September reportedthat the recruitment of contract soldiers exceeded expectations. He noted that for this reason there are no plans to mobilize in Russia. “The main document for conscription is a paper summons. (…) Everything is going well regarding recruitment under the contract, even better than expected,” Kartapolov said.

There are also no plans for mobilization stated Kremlin representative Dmitry Peskov. “There is no talk of mobilization,” he emphasized.
