Russian coach Igor Kolyvanov spoke about the possible transfer of Spartak goalkeeper Alexander Selikhov to Rostov.
“Selikhov is not the main goalkeeper of Spartak now, but at his age I want to play in the starting lineup. It is quite possible that he will become a first-team player in Rostov. But I don’t know if Selikhov has a desire to leave Spartak,” Kolyvanov quotes “Championship”.
As journalist Ivan Karpov reports in his Telegram channel, Spartak and Selikhov did not discuss extending the contract expiring next summer, while Rostov is interested in the goalkeeper’s services.
This season, the 30-year-old Russian played eight matches for Spartak in all tournaments, missed seven goals and kept three clean sheets.
Previously, Rostov head coach Valery Karpin spoke out about the victory over Spartak in the RPL Path match of the Russian Cup.
