Zakharova: Japan’s territorial problem can only be solved by recognizing the border

Previously, the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov statedthat it is Japan’s unfriendly actions and its participation in anti-Russian sanctions that are preventing the conclusion of a peace treaty. He noted that the problem of the peace treaty is a very complex issue in bilateral relations, but Moscow and Tokyo found the strength and political wisdom to engage in dialogue and negotiations in search of solutions.
