Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko demanded that the transition to clinical recommendations be explained to the regions and that they respond to doctors buzzing with dissatisfaction. This is reported by TASS.

According to the politician, while the Russian Ministry of Health claims that there are no problems with the transition to new clinical requirements, doctors express dissatisfaction.

“It doesn’t happen that way. You may not have problems, but doctors do. (…) You must carry out extensive explanatory work, selectors with the regions,” Matvienko announced. She noted that it is impossible not to respond to the tension in the healthcare system.

According to the law, the transition period ends on January 1, 2025, after which medical institutions must provide services in accordance with clinical recommendations. Based on these recommendations, the system of financing medical care was built, in addition, on them rely on experts in assessing assistance in a legal conflict between a patient and a doctor.
