Bastrykin: property worth 190 million rubles was seized in the case of the ex-deputy head of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug
In the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug) arrested the property of former deputy governor Andrei Voronov, accused of receiving a large bribe. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the chairman Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) Alexandra Bastrykina.
According to him, property worth 190 million rubles was seized: two blue Hublot watches from the Classic Fusion collection, an apartment, a house Krasnodar and in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, a parking space and a share of the land.
According to investigators, Voronov, being the vice-governor of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, received a bribe in the form of performing and paying for designer services in his home in exchange for patronage in concluding government contracts. In October 2020, Voronov was appointed head of Novy Urengoy.
Previously it became knownthat the official submitted an application for contract service and participation in a special military operation (SVO) of Russia on Ukraine.
