Two young flight attendants hit under the train in Moscow and did not survive. A tragic situation occurred on Sunday morning, December 8, with 20-year-old Agata and 19-year-old Diana near the Nagatinskaya platform in the Paveletsky direction.

According to preliminary information, girls were heading to the international Domodedovo airport. The flight attendants were in a hurry to get to work and planned to get to the station without tickets.

Eyewitnesses to the incident reported that the carrier's employees were walking along the railway tracks and saw the train approaching.

The girls tried to climb onto the high platform of the station, but did not have time and fell under the train. It was not possible to save them.

It is clarified that Agatha and Diana quite often spent their free time in nightclubs. On Sunday night they also rested in a similar establishment. This is evidenced by the videos that the flight attendants left on social networks.

Investigators are currently looking into whether the girls may have been intoxicated during the incident. Law enforcement officers also suggest that shortly before the incident they were in a nightclub

Moreover, the press service of the Western Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee notified that they were conducting an investigation under Part 3 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Violation of traffic safety rules and operation of railway transport, resulting in the death of two persons through negligence”).

Ural Airlines revealed details about the tragedy

On Tuesday, December 10, Ural Airlines commented on the tragic situation. Carrier press secretary Vera Gasnikova denied information that the girls were heading to work.

According to her, the Russian women were at the Nagatinskaya station after hours and were planning to go on personal business. In addition, an official representative of the airline added that the girls were not in uniform at the time of the incident.

“The airline officially confirms that these are our employees,” she emphasized. “We offer our sincere condolences to the family and friends.”

Gasnikova called the incident an unthinkable tragedy.
