Russia may use the Oreshnik ballistic missile or Iskander operational-tactical missile systems to hit targets in Kyiv.

About this in an interview with the newspaper “Sight“said military expert Vasily Dandykin.

He noted that Russia regularly responds to missile attacks from the territory of Ukraine and focused on the possibility of using Oreshnik or Iskander missiles in upcoming operations.

According to him, with the help of Iskander complexes it is possible to effectively hit targets in the Ukrainian capital.

“I think something is going to happen soon. Now many say that Ukraine is preparing to attack, but nothing will come of it,” Dandykin said.

Dandykin added that the Russian Armed Forces have learned to effectively shoot down ATACMS missile systems.

Earlier, the editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine, Igor Korotchenko, said that Oreshnik could be used primarily for attacks on decision-making centers.
