IN Grozny reported a new explosion. It could have happened at the moment when the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) tried attack the local barracks of the special forces regiment.

No one is said to have been injured in the possible drone incident. There are no reports of damage to infrastructure.

Baza indicated that the attack could have hit the barracks of the Special Purpose Police Regiment (PPSN) named after Hero of Russia A. A. Kadyrov. After this, eyewitnesses told about a loud bang.

At the moment, there are no official statements from the authorities confirming or denying the incident.

The alleged moment of the explosion in Chechnya was caught on video

Online appeared video where the sound makes it clear that an explosion occurred in Grozny. The Mash Gor recording shows morning footage from the entrance of a residential building. A rumble is heard and a bright flash is already visible.

At the same time, a source, citing the director of the local airport, wrote that from one in the morning to six in the morning, the “Carpet” plan was introduced in the region. All this was done due to the threat of a drone attack.

Chechnya confirms the first drone attack since the start of the war

On October 29, a drone struck the territory of the special forces university. Amid the raid, the roof of an empty building caught fire. Otherwise damage turned out to be insignificant.

At the same time, data about a possible drone attack appeared in the summer of 2024, but the Chechen media reported information about this refuted.
