German Ambassador Lambsdorf spoke about Scholz’s message in a conversation with Putin

The main message of the German Chancellor in a conversation with the Russian leader was revealed by the German Ambassador to Moscow Alexander Lambsdorff.

According to him, said in a conversation with RBCScholz expressed the opinion that a just and lasting peace can only be achieved through direct negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.

“The Federal Chancellor has repeatedly spoken with… Vladimir Zelensky. Any peace process is impossible without the consent of the Ukrainian side,” Lambsdorf said.

Previously, Putin himself revealed details of a telephone conversation with Scholzwhich took place on November 15. According to the Russian leader, he and the German Chancellor remained unchanged on the issue of events in Ukraine.
