The German Prosecutor General's Office officially accused three men of spying for Russia.

Among the accused are Dieter S., Alexander J. and Alex D. It is noted that Dieter previously served in the DPR. He allegedly contacted a certain person associated with the Russian special services and expressed his readiness to commit sabotage on German territory. The investigation established that Dieter collected data on infrastructure facilities in Bavaria.
In the spring of this year, Alex and Alexander began to help Dieter.
In April, the Federal Prosecutor General's Office confirmed the detention of Russian and German citizens for allegedly spying for Moscow.
The newspaper Der Spiegel reported that Bayreuth police in Germany arrested two people on suspicion of allegedly spying for Russia.
