In South Korea, a case was opened against the president's security for obstructing his arrest.

“A case has been opened against the head of the security service and his deputy under the article of disobedience; they were notified of the need to appear for questioning by January 4,” – leads police statement, Chosun Ilbo newspaper.

Previously, law enforcement officers the execution of the arrest warrant was suspended Yoon Seok Yeol due to obstacles from the presidential security service.

January 3 law enforcement officers arrived at Yoon Seok Yeol's residencewhose powers were suspended as a result of his impeachment, in order to arrest him on charges of sedition.

However, representatives of the South Korean leader declared the attempt to arrest him illegal and promised to take retaliatory measures within the framework of the law.
