Former Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl visited the Bikin National Park in Primorye and met a Red Book Amur tiger there.

“Kneissl visited the Bikin National Park in the Primorsky Territory. The trip was organized by the Amur Tiger Center, with whose support the national park was created in 2015,” the message says.

It is clarified that she met with employees of the national park and was given a tour of the social and environmental infrastructure in the park itself and its “capital” – the village of Krasny Yar.

Kneissl herself Telegram noted that on the way from the Khabarovsk Territory to Primorye I saw an Amur tiger on the road.
