In Puerto Rico, more than 1.3 million people were left without electricity due to a power plant accident.
This is reported by a local publication Primera Hora.
“Restoring power supply after a general power outage… will take 24 to 48 hours,” the publication said, citing energy company LUMA Energy.
Restoration work and an investigation into the causes of the accident are currently underway.
