Syrian militants from among the armed opposition formations in the provinces of Idlib and al-Dana announced their access to the city of Aleppo. This became known from a statement by the rebels published in their Telegram-channel.

“Our troops have begun to enter the city of Aleppo,” the report said.

According to the militants, they are working to “free the city from the cruelty and corruption of the criminal regime,” as well as “restore its pride and dignity, free it from injustice and tyranny.”

Previously, the Syrian Air Force inflicted airstrike on militant headquarters in the northern part of the country. It was clarified that among them there are many foreign mercenaries.
