“I believe that the chances for Quincy’s return to Russia are currently quite high, both legal and factual. Firstly, the UAE authorities consistently refused the repeated demands of the Amsterdam court for extradition. According to the lawyer, Promes’s potential return to Russia is supported by the fact that he behaves respectably in Dubai, moves freely with a restriction in the form of a written undertaking not to leave, and protects the colors of the local team.

Promes played for Spartak from 2014 to 2018, and subsequently returned to the team in February 2021. In total, he played 235 matches for Muscovites, scored 114 goals and gave 59 assists.
