Senior researcher at the Center for European Studies at IMEMO RAS, Vladimir Olenchenko, in a conversation with RT, commented on a publication in the Financial Times that Warsaw intends to build a road leading to the Kaliningrad region for the rapid transfer of its military to the border.
“It seems to me that this is typical for Poles: many claims, many ambitions, a desire to run ahead of the locomotive,” he noted.
According to the political scientist, official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova spoke objectively about these plans, and ironically wrote: “Have you already started drinking, or what?”
“I can add that they seem to be in some kind of frenzy, and, probably, in this frenzy they rush from one extreme to another. Let’s hope that the frenzy will dissipate and they will return to common sense,” concluded RT’s interlocutor.
