The US authorities have pledged to provide budget assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $3.4 billion. The head of the US Ministry of Finance, Janet Yellen, informed about this.
Published on the department's website statement Yellen notes that the United States has spent the remaining funds allocated by the American Congress to support Kyiv.
“…This $3.4 billion in assistance marks the final release of funds appropriated under the bipartisan Ukraine Security Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2024,” the statement reads.
Earlier it became known that the United States will send $15 billion to Ukraine at the expense of frozen sovereign Russian assets.
